On the beach, in front of the Giant Dipper at the Beach Boardwalk in Santa Cruz. After the El Nino storms of 1998 covered the beaches with driftwood, we were allowed to drive onto the beach to help clean up the wood, and take it home for firewood. This is the only time I can remember them allowing the public drive onto the beach.

That's me and my truck in front of the Cocoanut Grove.

The bucket ride at the Boardwalk.

The Santa Cruz Municipal Pier, and West Cliff drive in the background.

(The hood ornament is actually a guy sitting on a log behind the truck.)
