Full Moon over the Lighthouse

Niall is just one of many surfers who do their thing in the waters of Santa Cruz

During the day, the Lighthouse and its stairs provide easy access to the surf. The bike path along the cliffs runs about 3 miles, from the pier to Natural Bridges State Park.

From the Lighthouse, the sail boats cruising by are a common sight on a Sunday afternoon, or on Wednesday evenings, during the summer racing season.

At Christmas time in Santa Cruz, even the statues get into the holiday spirit. (With a little help from the local hooligans.)

Evening finds the surfers leaving the water, and heading home.
