Does anyone know the trick to changing the burned out lights behind the
heat/AC, slider controls on the dashboard?

One bulb. Move all of the levers to a "center" position and pull off the
knobs. On the left side of the panel there should be a slot for a small
screwdriver to pry the panel away. Pull the panel completley off and
this will expose the tiny bulb in the center of the assembly. I do not
know if you can purchase the bulb anywhere else but the dealer, but once
it is free from the dash you may be able to compare it with others at
the parts store.

I think (if I am correct) the light is not behind the sliders it is above
them. check for two screws and a shiny black piece of clear plastic
between them if these are there then just take them off and replace the
little bulb. If this is wrong then Maybe someone else can use the info.
