I didn't make to Gorman this time, but it sounds like some fun was had.
I hope the weather was better than it in the Bay area - mud is fun, but
the rain can be a pain.

Anyway - I got a set of little adapters that screw on the air stems
to allow you to deflate multiple tires at once. You can screw them
on, and check the pressure on the top as they deflate. It came as a
set of four, but I only use two at a time, and they are nice. I got
them at 4-Wheel Part Wholesale for about $10.00.

There are two types of defaltors out there.

The $10 ones screw on to the stems and just let out the air. You have to
take them off when you think the tires are where you want them. They don't
shut off so you have to watch them.

Then there are the $45 ones that shut off at a pressure you set by turning
the nut inside. One turn is one pound of pressure. These shut off when you
want them too. You can also put them on and start driving for a bit. They'll
still shut off at the right time. Stop after a few minutes and take them
off. The only place I know that sells them is Oasis Off road Mfg in Lake
Forest, Ca. (888) 96OASIS. They're $45+/- for 4 deflators, adjustment tool,
a low pressure guage (1-20lbs), and a leather carrying case. I'm really hapy
with mine. You can see a picture of one at http://members.home.com/aj7/ .
